Kajal Aggarwal opens up about giving her husband a ‘tough time’ while suffering from postpartum depression : Bollywood News

Kajal Aggarwal fans are excited to watch their favourite star on screen with the actress making a comeback to theatres post her maternity break. While she has not been away from fans since she always shared sneak peeks of her motherhood journey on social media, recently she decided to interact with them and answer their questions. While some fans were curious to know more about her upcoming professional journey, some were quite eager to know about her pregnancy journey and dealing with postpartum depression.

It has been scientifically proven in the past that most mothers undergo postpartum depression aka pregnancy blues after the birth of their child. Opening about her own experience to one of the social media users who asked Kajal Aggarwal about it, the Indian 2 actress said, “Yes I did. It’s normal and the person going through it needs family support the most. Removing time for yourself helps a lot. Doing your favourite activity, a quick workout (under supervision), a quick catch up for coffee with your besties – is therapeutic!”

She continued, “Thankfully I got over it soon enough, Courtesy, my very understanding family. Gave my husband a tough time when I was going through it though”, she concluded.

Yet another fan also quizzed the actress about the effect pregnancy and mother had on her physique. Responding to the same, Kajal added, “It’s more in one’s mind than physically challenging. Life offers beautiful moments, live in the moment and make the best of it. Having a baby is a blessing that I am very grateful for (folded hand emojis). Jumping back into work 2 months postpartum is a blessing as well! Getting back to your prebaby body is just a matter of time”.

Kajal Aggarwal, who tied the knot with businessman Gautam Kitchlu in 2020, gave birth to her son Neil on April 19, 2022.

On the work front, Kajal Aggarwal has Satyabhama in which she essays the role of a cop in the pipeline for release. Besides that, she has Bhagavanth Kesari with Nandamuri Balakrishna as well as Indian 2 with Kamal Haasan and Rakul Preet Singh too in her kitty.
