Following the wide-reaching success of Marco, producer Shareef Muhammed of Cubes Entertainments has announced his next major project - Kaattalan, a pan-Indian action thriller headlined by Antony Varghese, popularly known as Pepe. Directed by Paul George, the film marks yet another high-octane addition to the production house’s growing portfolio of cinema with pan-India appeal.

Although we have announced the key details of the film’s team, there has also been a significant development on the musical front as Ajaneesh Loknath, the acclaimed composer behind Kantara 2, has joined the team to helm the soundtrack and score of Kaattalan. Known for his ability to create immersive soundscapes, Ajaneesh’s involvement has heightened anticipation for the film. His music is expected to complement the film’s gritty aesthetic and intense narrative. The announcement was made on May 23 on the official social media page of the producers as they shared a warm welcome for the music composer.

Meanwhile, the makers have dropped several intense posters giving audience a glimpse of the film that has already creating strong buzz online. The first one was unveiled in March featuring Antony Varghese standing in the rain, surrounded by corpses and shattered elephant tusks, the visual hints at a dark and violent storyline. The raw and intense imagery signals a story rooted in conflict, survival, and possibly revenge. The title design is crafted by Ident Labs, the creative team behind the fonts of high-profile films like Jailer, Leo, Jawan, and the upcoming Coolie, adding to the film’s stylized visual identity.

With Cubes Entertainments establishing itself as a key player in pan-Indian cinema marketing, Kaattalan aims to continue the momentum set by Marco. Antony Varghese, who has carved a niche for himself with intense roles, appears to be pushing the envelope further with this project.

Kaattalan is positioned to cater to a wide audience with its action-packed storytelling, strong visuals, and atmospheric soundscape.
