Suriya and Jyothika, names which are very popular in the world of South Cinema, rarely share glimpses of their private life on social media. However, the Kaathal actress was seen sharing a sneak peek of how she kicked off her 2024 with her husband Suriya. The couple, amidst their hectic work schedules, decided to spend some quality time with each other and had taken off to Finland, Arctic Circle.

Jyothika took to Instagram to share a video which was filled with montages of how the couple spent their vacation. From staying in resorts which had igloos to riding the husky sleighs to having a snowfight to indulging in Finnish sauna and ice water therapy, the couple were seen enjoying and immersing themselves in several local activities amid the snowy and chilly weather . The actress revealed in her caption a wish of travelling the entire year as she added, “2024 - a year full of travel” and added, “January : Finland (Arctic circle)”. While she received a lot of love and best wishes from her friends, family, and followers, her husband Suriya took to his Instagram story to repost this reel and also added emojis.

On the work front, Suriya will be seen in the magnum opus Kanguva which features a host of celebrities from across multiple industries in Indian Cinema like Bobby Deol and Disha Patani who will be seen in key roles in this Siva directorial. It is slated to release in over 35 languages. Whereas Jyothika will be marking her return to Hindi Cinema with films like Shaitaan alongside Ajay Devgn and R Madhavan as well as Sri with Alaya F and Rajkummar Rao.
