Pan-India superstar Jr NTR is all set to don the avatar of Lord Kumara Swamy in his upcoming film with acclaimed filmmaker Trivikram Srinivas. The yet-to-be-titled project is being mounted on a lavish scale by Harika Hassine Creations and promises to bring together mythology, grandeur, and powerful storytelling.

Jr NTR, fondly called the ‘Man of the Masses’, will mark his first major foray into the mythological genre, making it a highly anticipated move in his ever-expanding filmography. Trivikram, known for blending emotion and spectacle, seems to be crafting something special with this divine tale. A source close to the development confirmed the news, stating, “Jr NTR is doing the film with Trivikram, and he will be portraying the role of Lord Kumara Swamy. The film is being produced by S. Radha Krishna (Chinna Babu) and Suryadevara Naga Vamsi under Harika Hassine Creations. The team is very excited, and more details will be announced soon."

The announcement comes at a time when Jr NTR has a power-packed lineup. He is currently gearing up for his Hindi film debut War 2, slated for release in August 2025. In addition to that, he has the Devara sequel (Devara: Part 2) and the high-octane actioner NTRNeel with KGF director Prashanth Neel in the pipeline. He’s also expected to collaborate with director Nelson Dilipkumar for another big-ticket project.
