Huma Qureshi joins the cast of Yash starrer Toxic : Bollywood News

Huma Qureshi, who is lately seen more on the digital platform than on the big screen, is back on the bada parda with none other than ‘Rocking Star’ Yash as her co-star in Geetu Mohandas’ Malayalam-Hindi-Kannada tri-lingual Toxic.

And before we jump to wrong conclusions… no, Huma Qureshi is not replacing Kareena Kapoor Khan, who has apparently opted out. Kareena’s exit is not yet certain as source close to the project tell me the producers are tempting her back with extra zeroes on the paycheque.

Huma, I am told, plays a completely different role.

“Huma was signed even before Kareena was approached. She plays neither Yash’s sister (offered to Kareena) nor his love interest (which Kiara Advani is playing). Huma has her separate track with Yash with lots of action,” said a source in the know.
