Fans of Mahesh Babu couldn’t wait to see a glimpse of Guntur Kaaram as it marks the collaboration of the Telugu superstar with his Khaleja filmmaker Trivikram Srinivas after almost 14 years. Furthermore, adding to it, it also marks the return of the Telugu superstar on the big screen after almost two years, since his last release was Sarkaru Vaari Paata co-starring Keerthy Suresh, in 2022. And after much anticipation, on January 7, fans were treated to the massy trailer of this upcoming action entertainer which features Sreeleela as the leading lady.

If you are a Mahesh Babu fan, then Guntur Kaaram trailer promises to be the perfect entertainer for you. The trailer boasts of every commercial element that the Telugu prince is famous for and hence, the movie is going to be a rollercoaster ride of emotions, action, romance, and of course, the famous Mahesh Babu antics. Trivikram Srinivas seems to have ensured that every commercial element is added in the right amount as he attempts to retain the ‘Guntur Kaaram’ spice by sprinkling it whistle-worthy entry sequences and power packed dialogues. The movie features Ramya Krishnan as the mother of Mahesh Babu, who is accused of leaving her elder son Ramana as an orphan to fend for himself. However, further details of the plotline are kept under wraps.

With Sreeleela playing the actor’s love interest, Guntur Kaaram also stars Prakash Raj, Easwari Rao, Jayaram, Jagapathi Babu, Meenakshii Chaudhary, among others in key roles. Apart from S Thaman composing the music, the film’s cinematography is handled by Manoj Paramahamsa and PS Vinod whereas Navin Nooli has been roped in for editing. The film’s certification process is already expected to have completed with it receiving U/A certificate and it is slated for release on January 12, during the occasion of Sankranti and Pongal.
