The video opens with a striking close-up of Mohanlal as Georgekutty — the calm, calculating family man at the center of the franchise — and transitions to a behind-the-scenes clip showing him shaking hands with director Jeethu Joseph and producer Anthony Perumbavoor.

The past never stays silent.” According to a report by Pinkvilla, the team of the Hindi Drishyam starring Ajay Devgn too has chosen Gandhi Jayanti, October 2, 2025, as the start date for filming – a deliberate move, given the symbolic weight the date holds in the Drishyam universe. The upcoming film is expected to be the final chapter in Georgekutty’s saga — a character that has become synonymous with Mohanlal’s legacy.
The shoot will reportedly follow a marathon three-month schedule, combining real locations across Maharashtra with extensive studio work.
