Dhanush announces Nilavukku Enmel Ennadi Kobam featuring ensemble cast including Priya Prakash Varrier : Bollywood News

While earlier Dhanush announced #DD3 which is expected to mark the third directorial of the Maari star, the film has finally received its title. On Christmas, Dhanush, who is also co-producing the film under his home banner Wunderbar Films, unveiled it to be Nilavukku Enmel Ennadi Kobam, aka NEEK. The romantic comedy is also expected to feature an ensemble cast which includes the Oru Adaar Love fame Priya Prakash Varrier.

Apart from the young actress, Nilavukku Enmel Ennadi Kobam will also star Pavish, Anikha Surendran, Mathew Thomas, Venkatesh Mohan, Rabiya Khatoon and Ramya Ranganathan. While it was officially announced earlier this month, recently along with the title the makers also decided to give audiences a sneak peek into the upcoming Tamil entertainer. Touted to be a romantic drama of coming-of-age youngsters, the motion poster gives us a glimpse into the urban setup and the poster features a voiceover by Dhanush who explains the meaning of ‘love’.

Dhanush took to X, formerly known as Twitter, on December 25 to make this announcement and also unveiled the motion poster saying, “#DD3 is Nilavukku enmel ennadi kobam .. A usual love story?? #neek .. Motion poster with @gvprakash magic https://youtu.be/8tgawj_bh90 @wunderbarfilms”.

Speaking of the crew, NEEK is produced under the banner of Wunderbar Films and RK Films, wherein along with Dhanush, it will be jointly produced by his parents Kasthuri Raja and Vijayalakshmi Kasthuri. The music will be composed by G. V. Prakash Kumar whereas the cinematography will be handled by Leon Britto and editing by Prasanna GK. The film is currently said to have completed its principal photography and is in the pre-production stage. It is expected to go on floors soon and will be releasing in theatres by December 21, 2024.
