Kannada actor Darshan's wife, Vijayalakshmi Darshan, has responded to the murder allegations against her husband by seeking an injunction to prevent the media from spreading unauthenticated information. She aims to curb the dissemination of falsehoods and insists on the publication of only verified information from enforcement authorities.
Statement to the public
Vijayalakshmi expressed her distress over the situation, stating, "With this order issued by the Honourable Court, I hope people will put to rest some falsified information and untruths that were being spread across various media and social media platforms. I urge everyone to kindly publish only what is officially put out by the enforcement authorities. I have full faith in Ma Chamundeshwari and in our legal system. Let Justice Prevail.”
Details of the case
The case involves Raghavendra, a member of Darshan’s fan club in Chitradurga, who allegedly lured Renukaswamy to a shed in RR Nagar under the pretense that Darshan wanted to meet him. It was there that Renukaswamy was reportedly tortured and killed. The investigation team has reportedly gathered significant evidence, including CCTV footage, suggesting Darshan's presence during the alleged assault.
Awaiting legal proceedings
The case continues to unfold, and with the court's order, Vijayalakshmi hopes for a more restrained and factual approach from the media. She stands by her belief in the justice system and prays for a fair outcome in the legal proceedings.
