On Saturday, Mrunal Thakur took to social media to share a fun behind-the-scenes video that gave fans a sneak peek into her excitement surrounding the film. In the clip, the actress revealed that her co-star Adivi Sesh had invited her to catch an early viewing of the first look on May 24, but the audience would have to wait just a little longer for the official reveal. Bursting with enthusiasm, Mrunal was seen abandoning her car and running toward the studio, only to be playfully stopped from entering. Her energy and anticipation left fans equally intrigued and amused.

Dacoit marks a new collaboration between Mrunal Thakur and Adivi Sesh, promising a gritty story laced with intense emotions and action. Interestingly, before Mrunal came on board, the role was originally offered to Shruti Haasan, who even shot a promo for the film. However, she opted out of the project making way for Mrunal to step into the lead role.

According to early reports, Dacoit centres on an enraged convict seeking vengeance on his former lover, who betrayed him. With a dark and gripping premise, the film is expected to explore the themes of love, betrayal, and revenge in a raw and emotionally intense setting.

Produced by Supriya Yarlagadda and co-produced by Suniel Narang, Dacoit is a bilingual film shot simultaneously in Hindi and Telugu. The story and screenplay have been crafted by Shaneil Deo and Adivi Sesh, adding to the intrigue surrounding the film’s layered narrative. Given the buzz already surrounding the casting and plot, the first glimpse of Dacoit on May 26 is likely to set the tone for what promises to be one of the most talked-about films of the year.
