While fans are eagerly waiting to see Ajith Kumar entertain them on the big screen, the actor is all set to make a major appearance off screen by being a part of Dubai 24H race that will be held in the UAE city, starting from January 11. The Tamil superstar has already kicked off the practice sessions for the same but suffered a major accident on the track, leaving his fans concerned. However, his manager Suresh Chandra have assured that the actor is completely fine and that he will be resuming practice soon.
Ajith Kumar’s manager explains about the accident
In a brief interaction with Screen India, Suresh Chandra opened up about the freak accident and revealed details of what happened as he said, “Mr Ajith is one of four drivers who would be participating in the endurance race that is scheduled to happen this Saturday. They were practicing driving for four hours at a stretch. He was also doing the same, and was driving for almost 3-3.5 hours, and during the last leg of his practice session, there was a turn that didn’t have a lot of visibility. There was slight shift, and you must have seen the spinoff”.
He also provided assurance to Ajith fans insisting that the actor underwent full check-up and that he is fit enough to resume practice now. “The car was broken, but nothing happened to him. The ambulance rushed to the spot, and he walked away from the car. He was taken to the nearest grid, and a full examination was done. There is nothing to worry about. He will be back in action tomorrow for the next practice”, he added.

In September last year, the Tamil superstar took his passion of racing to a whole new level by introducing his own car race team – Ajith Kumar Racing Team which includes Fabian Duffieux as their official racer and the upcoming race will also feature Mathueu Detry from Belgium and Cameron McLeod from Australia being a part of it.
Meanwhile, on the film front, Ajith Kumar has Good Bad Aur Ugly in the pipeline for release, which is slated to hit cinemas on April 10. His much-awaited film with Lyca Productions, Vidaamuyarchi, co-starring Trisha Krishnan recently hit a roadblock as the release was postponed. However, the makers are yet to unveil the new release date of this actioner.
