Hiphop/R&B-inspired global girl group XG has announced the release of their re-cut single “IN THE RAIN” this Friday, April 11, ahead of their much-anticipated headlining performance at Coachella 2025. The group recently made headlines by becoming the first Japanese artists ever to be chosen as headliners at the prestigious U.S. music festival, where they’ll be taking over the Sahara Stage, the event’s largest indoor venue, at 22:55 local time this weekend.

Originally featured on XG’s second mini album AWE, which marked their debut on the Billboard 200 chart last November, “IN THE RAIN” is a soulful, R&B-infused track that beautifully blends gentle guitar melodies with the sound of rainfall.
