A romantic comedy is on its way! Camila Mendes of Riverdale fame and Archie Renaux from Shadow & Bone are set to create on-screen chemistry in an upcoming romantic comedy titled Upgraded. The charismatic duo, known for their distinct roles in popular TV series, will join forces to bring a fresh and engaging dynamic to the genre. The trailer for the upcoming movie on Prime Video was dropped on January 16, 2024.

Ana (Camila Mendes) is an ambitious intern dreaming of a career in the art world while trying to impress her demanding boss Claire (Marisa Tomei). When she's upgraded to first class on a work trip, she meets handsome Will (Archie Renaux), who mistakes Ana for her boss– a white lie that sets off a glamorous chain of events, romance and opportunity, until her fib threatens to surface.

Upgraded is the second feature-length project from Carlson Young. The movie also stars Thomas Kretschmann, Gregory Montel, Aimee Carrero, Andrew Schulz, and Rachel Matthews, with Lena Olin and Marisa Tomei, also starring, Fola Evans-Akingbola, Anthony Head, and Saoirse-Monica Jackson. The movie will be released on Prime Video on February 9, 2024.
