“Three years have passed”: Nobody 2 producer Kelly McCormick says sequel picks up with Hutch Mansell still fighting—and still in debt

Four years after Hutch Mansell inadvertently took on the Russian mob, Universal Pictures India (distributed by Warner Bros. Discovery) is taking you on a dangerous family vacation— Nobody 2 is all set for release on 22nd August, 2025! Of Better Call Saul and Breaking Bad fame, Emmy winner Bob Odenkirk charges back to the franchise as suburban husband, father, and workaholic assassin Hutch Mansell in the new chapter to Nobody , the hit 2021 bare-knuckle action-thriller.

As much as he likes the high-action thrill of his ‘job,’ Hutch and his wife, Becca (International Emmy nominee Connie Nielsen), are overworked and drifting apart. So, they decide to set out on a short getaway with their kids to Wild Bill’s Majestic Midway and Waterpark, the only place where he and his brother Harry (Grammy and Emmy nominee RZA) vacationed as kids. However, Hutch still remains $30 million in debt to the criminal organization he took on the last time and is working off those tabs with a never-ending string of hits on international thugs.

He hunted down the bad guys on a revenge quest the first time—and now, he just can’t seem to get away from them, especially on vacation. “Three years have passed since the events of the first film, and we see how Hutch and his family have evolved,” producer Kelly McCormick says. "Following the popular success of 2021’s Nobody, in which Odenkirk inaugurated the role of secret assassin Hutch Mansell, the filmmakers began to look at what the next stage of life for Hutch and his family might seem like, especially since now his wife and kids are aware of his true identity. “They went through a lot in the first film and with Nobody 2 they go through even more,” McCormick hints.
