One year on from its sensational debut, the global hit series Maxton Hall - The World Between Us is back in the spotlight. To celebrate the anniversary, Prime Video is giving fans a sneak peek at the highly anticipated second season. Just in time for the milestone, brand new images and a behind-the-scenes video promise a continuation of Ruby and James' journey - emotional, dramatic and even more intense than before.
Produced by UFA Fiction, the first season was the most successful International Original Series in Prime Video's history. At launch on May 9th, 2024, the first season of the series achieved the largest first-week global viewership for an International Original in Prime Video's history and reached #1 on the Prime Video charts in over 120 countries and territories. The upcoming season is based on the second part of the bestselling novel series Save You written by author Mona Kasten and published by LYX.
Maxton Hall – The World Between Us: Season Two

Following a passionate night in Oxford and with her biggest dream within reach, Ruby (Harriet Herbig-Matten) seems to have it all. But a sudden turn in James’ (Damian Hardung) family life changes everything. It’s James himself who pulls Ruby out of her moment of happiness and back into a harsh reality.
Heartbroken, Ruby struggles to cope. She’s never felt so deeply for anyone—and never been so hurt. Longing for the simpler days when she was invisible at Maxton Hall and far from the elite circles of her classmates, Ruby tries to move on. But James isn’t ready to let go—and he’s determined to win her back.
In addition to Damian Hardung and Harriet Herbig-Matten, Sonja Weißer as Lydia, Ben Felipe as Cyril, Fedja van Huêt as Mortimer, Runa Greiner as Ember, Justus Riesner as Alistair, Andrea Guo as Lin, Frederic Balonier as Kieran, and Eli Riccardi as Elaine return to the cast of the second season.
Martin Schreier (Traumfabrik) once again directs the second season of Maxton Hall – The World Between Us. Producers of the upcoming season include Markus Brunnemann and Ceylan Yildirim, who also acts and head writer of the series. In addition to Yildirim, Juliana Lima Dehne and Marlene Melchior are also involved as screenwriters on the series. Valentin Debler is once again the producer for UFA Fiction. The series is supported by the German Motion Picture Fund (GMPF).
