South Korean actress Jo Bo Ah is set to embark on a new chapter in her life. On August 28, her agency, XYZ Studio, confirmed that the actress is engaged to her non-celebrity boyfriend and will be tying the knot this October 2024.
According to media outlet Soompi, the agency released an official statement expressing their joy and excitement for Jo Bo Ah's upcoming nuptials. “Jo Bo Ah has found a special someone who has filled her life with love, trust, and affection,” the statement read. “After a significant period of togetherness, they have decided to take their relationship to the next level and commit to a lifetime of partnership.”
The wedding ceremony will be held privately in Seoul, a decision made to respect the privacy of the non-celebrity groom and both families. XYZ Studio expressed their gratitude to Jo Bo Ah's fans for their unwavering support throughout her career and requested their warm blessings for the happy couple.
Jo Bo Ah, who made her debut in the drama Flower Band in 2012, has since captivated audiences with her versatile performances in numerous projects. Her notable works include Sweet Stranger and Me, Degree of Love, My Strange Hero, Tale of the Nine-Tailed, Military Prosecutor Doberman, and Destined With You.
Jo Bo Ah is currently working on the historical romance drama Hongrang (working title), where she will share the screen with Lee Jae Wook. Additionally, she has recently commenced filming for Disney+'s new series Knock Off, co-starring the popular actor Kim Soo Hyun.
