The upcoming eight-episode season will roll out weekly, with a new episode dropping every Wednesday until the grand finale on February 4, 2026. Season Two picks up right after the explosive finale of Season One, transporting audiences from the wasteland to the iconic Mojave desert and the post-apocalyptic city of New Vegas. Fans were given a thrilling first look at one of the franchise’s most dreaded creatures, the Deathclaw, in the teaser footage.

Adding to the excitement, the trailer also revealed Justin Theroux joining the cast as the mysterious and powerful Robert House—a name familiar to gamers who have explored New Vegas in the original video game.

During Gamescom’s Opening Night Live, a crowd of over 5,000 fans watched in awe as Jonathan Nolan, Geneva Robertson-Dworet, and series stars Ella Purnell and Aaron Moten shared insights into the new season’s stakes and what lies ahead for fan-favorite characters Lucy, Maximus, and The Ghoul.

Since its debut, Fallout has cemented itself as one of Prime Video’s biggest hits. Season One has been viewed by over 100 million people worldwide, making it one of the platform’s top three most-watched shows of all time.

Based on one of the greatest video game franchises ever, the series explores a world divided between the privileged survivors of luxury vaults and those struggling in the irradiated wastelands. Set 200 years after the apocalypse, Fallout continues to deliver a unique mix of dark humor, brutal survival, and eccentric storytelling.

The show stars Ella Purnell (Yellowjackets, Sweetpea), Aaron Moten (Emancipation, Father Stu), Walton Goggins (The White Lotus, The Righteous Gemstones), Kyle MacLachlan (Twin Peaks), Moisés Arias (The King of Staten Island), and Frances Turner (The Boys).

Produced by Kilter Films, the series boasts an impressive lineup of executive producers including Jonathan Nolan, Lisa Joy, Athena Wickham, Geneva Robertson-Dworet, Graham Wagner, and Todd Howard of Bethesda Game Studios.

Season One is currently streaming on Prime Video, while Season Two promises a deeper dive into the chaotic wastelands—with the arrival of Deathclaws and New Vegas ensuring fans are in for a wild ride.
