Chris Evans confirms relationship with Alba Baptista in a cute flashback 2022 post; watch video

People’s Sexiest Man Alive Chris Evans has seemingly confirmed his relationship with his long-rumored girlfriend Alba Baptista. On Friday, the Marvel star shared a cute flashback 2022 video on his Instagram story where the duo can be seen pulling pranks at each other. "A look back at 2022," he captioned the video adding three hearts.

According to People, Evans has been dating Alba, a Portuguese actor, who appeared in the 2022 film Mrs. Harris Goes to Paris, for over a year now. "They are in love and Chris has never been happier. His family and friends all adore her," a source told People in November 2022.

The couple first sparked rumors in January 2022 when Evans followed Baptista on Instagram in 2020. Evans has previously been linked to Jenny Slate, Dianna Agron, Minka Kelly, and Jessica Biel. When the actor was announced PEOPLE's 2022 Sexiest Man Alive, he told the publication that wife, kids and a family is “absolutely something I want.”

He added, "When you read about most of the best artists, whether it's actors, painters, writers, most of them [admit] it wasn't the work they made [that they are most proud of], it was about the relationships; the families they created, the love they found, the love they shared."

"So, it's also something through my long 41 years that also rings true. Those things are the most important," he said at the time. "I love the idea of tradition and ceremony. I had a lot of that in my life, so the idea of creating that — I can't think of anything better."
