Angelina Jolie has publicly urged her ex-husband Brad Pitt to end their ongoing legal battle over the Chateau Miraval winery for the sake of their family. Despite their tumultuous split, Jolie emphasizes the need to move forward and focus on healing.

The former couple, who once shared a 50/50 stake in Chateau Miraval, has been entangled in a legal tussle since Jolie sold her shares for $67 million in 2021. Pitt subsequently filed a lawsuit against her, claiming the sale violated their verbal agreement. Jolie's lawyer, Paul Murphy, highlighted that Pitt, despite controlling their shared properties and businesses, continues to demand more, seeking $67 million plus punitive damages.

In a statement shared with Page Six, Jolie’s legal team accused Pitt of trying to control her through an expanded NDA that would cover his alleged personal misconduct. Jolie insists that Pitt should "end the fighting" and prioritize their family's well-being. Murphy reiterated that if Pitt does not drop the lawsuit, Jolie will be forced to provide evidence to counter his allegations.

The legal battle has also seen disputes over a non-disclosure agreement (NDA). Pitt’s lawyers claim Jolie initially requested the broader NDA, while Jolie's team argues it was a tactic by Pitt to cover up alleged abuse.
