Their love story, beginning in June 2017, blossomed into a deep and committed bond that led to their marriage on June 23, 2024. Zaheer's post serves as a sweet reminder of the powerful feeling of meeting your soulmate and knowing it instantly. Sharing the photos of their wedding, the couple wrote, “On this very day, seven years back (23.06.2017) in each others eyes, we saw love in its purest form and decided to hold on to it. Today that love has guided us through all the challenges and triumphs… leading up to this moment… where with the blessings of both our families and both our gods… we are now man and wife,” in a joint Instagram post.

Speaking of the professional front, Sonakshi was recently seen in Sanjay Leela Bahnsali’s Heeramandi. The eight-episode web show was released on Netflix on May 1.
