Global music icon Kanye West, now known as Ye, is set to bring his large-scale live stage production to India, marking what organisers describe as a major moment in the country’s live entertainment space.
The artist recently generated global buzz after unveiling his latest stage spectacle at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. Visuals from the performance circulated widely online, with audiences and critics noting the scale and design of the production, which blends immersive sound with architectural stage elements. The show is now scheduled to take place at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi. Positioned as a one-night event, it is being presented not just as a concert but as a large-format live experience, reflecting Ye’s reputation for combining music with experimental visual staging.
The announcement follows the release of Ye’s latest album Bully, which has sparked discussion for its cross-cultural references. The title track notably draws from “Mujhe Maar Dalo,” originally performed by Asha Bhosle, introducing an Indian musical influence into the project.
