Citylights released this week and there are some understated gems that Bollywood Hungama would like to share with you!

What Citylights taught us

Note: A few of these could be Spoilers

- That a small town simpleton would actually be that simple to hand over his entire savings to a complete stranger hours after stepping into a new city

- That despite being beaten by the 'haalaat' at Mumbai, the couple with a kid along won't go back to their home town in Rajasthan where they at least have a roof over their head

- That in the city of Mumbai, ultimately it is only bar girls who have a heart of gold even as the rest of the world conspires against the new entrants

- That there is actually a flourishing business in Mumbai where private security companies act as 'transporters'. Move over Jason Statham!

- That the boss of one such security company recruits security personnel's without anything like background check and would base his decisions on jokes they tell

- That one such security personnel would live in a impoverished settlement but would have ample money to splurge on bar girls and scotch

- That even in a semi-art house film by Bhatts, there would be mandatory love making and kissing scenes involved

- That a director would actually explain an entire heist plan shot by shot, only to bring in an abrupt interjection which would arrive unannounced and make the earlier conversation inconsequential

- That audience can be left to interpret the title Citylights on their own. Meanwhile one wonders whether the characters in the film themselves got the title!
