By now we all know that Shahid Kapoor will soon be seen playing the role of the Punjabi rockstar Tommy Singh in the soon to release film Udta Punjab. Though we still have to wait for the film to hit theatres, we bring our surfers a peak at what went into transforming Shahid Kapoor into Tommy.
Here's some behind the scenes footage of Shahid's transformation for his character in the film. As for Udta Punjab, directed by Abhishek Chaubey, the film features Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Diljit Dosanhj. Presented by Balaji Motion Pictures and produced by Phantom Films the film is slated to release on June 17.
