Veteran actor Dharmendra pays tribute to Mehmood on the day of his death anniversary : Bollywood News

Amidst many veteran actors who have taken a keen interest to social media, we rarely see popular actor Dharmendra posting updates. Yet the legendary actor does give us brief glimpses of some iconic moments that he has shared with his co-actors from B-town in the past. Dharmendra paid a tribute to Mehmood on his Twitter handle recently to commemorate the talented comedian-actor-filmmaker on his death anniversary.

Dharmendra shared two posts about Mehmood, one to share about how much he has missing those days with the actor. The second one is actually a nostalgic memory shared from a film that they did together, Chanda Ka Palna. For the uninitiated, Dharmendra and Mehmood have acted in many films in the past including films like Pocket Maar, Jugnu, Izzat, Mohabbat Zindagi Hai, Neela Aakash amongst others. Let us also tell you that Dharmendra and Mehmood shared a great bond and the superstar even did a special role in the ambitious venture of the comedian, Kunwara Baap which not only starred him but also was directed by him. The cameo also featured Dharmendra’s real life wife Hema Malini too.

Speaking of Dharmendra, the veteran actor will return as the Yamla in the third instalment of the popular franchise Yamla Pagla Deewana. The film will feature him alongside his two sons, Sunny and Bobby Deol. It will also star Kriti Kharbanda as Bobby’s love interest. The film too will feature interesting cameos by Salman Khan, Sonakshi Sinha and Shatrughan Sinha. Yamla Pagla Deewana Phir Se is slated to release on August 31.
