Global lingerie and beauty brand Victoria’s Secret has officially announced Triptii Dimri as its first-ever Indian brand ambassador at an exclusive invite-only event held at Zenith, The St. Regis Mumbai, on April 9, 2026.
Calling the association a milestone moment in her journey, Triptii said, “It feels amazing, I'm very very excited. It's a very special moment for me. It's like a dream come true.”
Speaking about what connected her with the global label, she added, “I think the fact that the brand is constantly evolving, you know, that's something that really resonated with me. Victoria's Secret is not about one idea of beauty. For Victoria's Secret, beauty is all about confidence, it's about celebrating who you truly are, your good sides, your bad sides, and celebrating each and every version of you. So, I think that's something that really resonated with me.”
Triptii also reflected on how her own understanding of confidence has changed over time. She said, “Initially, for me, it was just knowing it all, having it all, and fake it till you make it. But I think now it's more about being sure of yourself, just accepting the bad parts also. I think not every day is perfect, there are days you feel good, there are days you don't feel so good, but just having your back on those days, I think that's something that is confidence to me.”
The actor is also the face of the brand’s Summer Signature collection and shared what she appreciates most about it. “What I love the most about the Summer Signature is how naturally it celebrates individuality. The pieces are so wonderful, they're so versatile, very, very comfortable, and stylish as well. So, you don't have to try too hard to look good in them, you just own them and you look good,” she said.
Speaking at the event, Abhishek Bajpai, CEO of Apparel Group India, explained why this was the right time for the brand to introduce an Indian ambassador. “I think we've been in the market for the last few years, and in the last few years we've made an effort to understand the consumer, have matured as a brand, and I think it was the right time for us to get somebody,” he said.
Sharing what made Triptii the right choice to represent the label, Bajpai added, “I think she's fabulous, she's very very confident. What she's on the screen, outside also, she carries a very strong persona. And these are the traits that we look for somebody who would represent a brand like Victoria. And she's a perfect fit.”
The announcement marks a significant milestone for Victoria’s Secret’s engagement with the Indian market, as this is the first time the brand has formally partnered with an Indian face in an ambassadorial role.
