Special screening of Bhaag Milkha Bhaag held for Indian Armed Forces : Bollywood News

Viacom 18 Media Pvt. Ltd and Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra held exclusive preview screenings of Bhaag Milkha Bhaag in all UFO digital Defence theatres across India, on Thursday, July 11.

The movie was screened in 124 military cantonments across the country and a meet n greet session with the cast and Shri Milkha Singh was held at the Chandigarh cantonment.

Claiming it to be a tribute to a national hero, Rudrarup Datta, Head, Marketing and Operations, Viacom18 Motion Pictures said, "It was because of the Indian Army that Milkha Singh's talent was discovered and nurtured. Viacom18 Motion Pictures was privileged and proud to premiere the film for the armed forces across India." Adding further Mr. Kapil Agarwal, Joint Managing Director, UFO Moviez said, "The specially organized premiere of Bhaag Milkha Bhaag is our way of paying tribute to the brave soldiers who safeguard our nation."

The Defense spokesperson of Chandimandir Army Cantonment in Chandigarh added, "The special screenings of Bhaag Milkha Bhaag is a positive step by Viacom18 and UFO towards entertaining our troops."

Starring Farhan Akhtar and Sonam Kapoor, Bhaag Milkha Bhaag is directed and co-produced by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra along with Viacom 18 Motion Pictures and hits the theatres today, July 12.
