Sobhita Dhulipala has mesmerized the audience with her performance in the series Made In Heaven followed by Ghost Stories and the recently released film Kurup opposite Dulquer Salmaan. On Monday, the actress took to her Instagram handle to hold an AMA (Ask Me Anything) session and answered questions by her fans.
Shakun Batra who has previously made films like Ek Main Aur Ek Tu and Kapoor & Sons is currently basking in the success of his film Gehraiyaan which was released earlier this month. The filmmaker is known to portray various human relationships and their facets.
One of Sobhita’s fans asked when she will work with Gehraiyaan director Shakun Batra. “You need to work with Shakun Batra, it will be magic”. Sobhita agreed to the same and said, “DUDEEE. I know ughh. Someone please tell him. Petition”.
Another fan asked her if she would ever like to direct or write a film. “I fantasize about these things. Who knows?,” she responded.
Another fan also asked if she was interested in doing a Tamil film. "Consider doing a Tamil film? Who is your fav Tamil director and actor?" read the question. Responding in an affirmative, Sobhita said, "Man I would love to be a part of Tamil cinema. I've been binging on the works of some modern greats like Vetrimaarn, Mari Selvaraj and Pa Ranjith since 2 weeks, I am blown away.”
On the work front, Sobhita recently returned from Sri Lanka where she was shooting for the Indian adaptation of The Night Manager with Anil Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur. She will next be seen in Major, Ponniyin Selvan, Sithara and season two of Made In Heaven.
