Shraddha Kapoor recently engaged with her fans during a relaxed online Q&A session, where she touched upon several topics her followers have been curious about. Among the many questions posed, one in particular stood out – a fan asked whether she would collaborate with Alia Bhatt in a future film.
Shraddha responded with her trademark humour, noting that the query was “not a question but a statement,” and added that she completely agreed with it. She further encouraged her fans to unite and request writers to craft a script that brings both actresses together on screen. Expressing her admiration for Alia, she said, “I am a very big fan of Alia and I feel she does amazing work and it would be great if we get to work together someday.”
During another part of the session, a fan proposed the idea of re-releasing her hit romantic drama Aashiqui 2 in theatres. Shraddha found the suggestion exciting, calling it a brilliant idea, and shared that she would love to watch the film again on the big screen.
She also offered an update about her recent injury, something fans had been keen to hear about. Shraddha revealed that she had hurt herself on the sets of her upcoming film Eetha, which forced her to temporarily pause physical activities. Reassuring fans, she joked, “I was moving like a Terminator. It’s just a muscle tear. It will be fine.” She added that she only needs rest and will recover soon.
After the success of Stree 2, Shraddha is currently gearing up for Eetha. In addition to her live-action projects, she is stepping into the world of animation by lending her voice to Judy Hopps in the Hindi-dubbed version of Disney’s Zootopia 2, releasing in India on November 28. Describing Judy, she said the character has been “feisty, courageous, enthusiastic, and adorable since childhood.” The film, directed by Jared Bush and Byron Howard, follows the legacy of the Oscar-winning original and is one of the most anticipated animated releases of the year.
