The video showcases a mix of intensity and humour, with Rana’s brooding character navigating punchlines instead of punches. While not part of the main cast, Grover’s presence is designed to stir interest ahead of the show’s Season 2 release on June 13. Speaking about the crossover promo, Sunil Grover, who is a part of The Great Indian Kapil Show on Netflix, said, “Rana Daggubati and I in the same frame? Even I didn’t see that coming. Rana Naidu is this intense, gritty world full of power moves, family drama, and action, and then I walked in with my own brand of chaos. The moment Netflix pitched it, I knew it would be madness in the best way. What we shot was wild, unpredictable, and way too much fun. It felt like two completely different worlds crashing together — and somehow, it just clicked. Rana Naidu Season 2 is bringing the drama… and a little bit of mayhem too.”

Rana Daggubati echoed the sentiment, calling it “chaos I didn’t see coming.” He added, “When Sunil Grover shows up, you just know things are about to get… unpredictable. One minute I’m brooding like Rana Naidu does best, and the next, I’m dodging punchlines instead of punches. Netflix threw us into this wild little experiment — and honestly, it was chaos I didn’t see coming. Season 2 of Rana Naidu is produced by Sunder Aaron and Locomotive Global. The series is created by Karan Anshuman and directed by Karan Anshuman, Suparn S. Varma, and Abhay Chopra. The new season brings back Rana Daggubati and Venkatesh Daggubati along with Surveen Chawla, Sushant Singh, Abhishek Banerjee, Arjun Rampal, Kriti Kharbanda, and Dino Morea. Rana Naidu Season 2 streams on Netflix starting June 13.
