On Friday morning, two days after the announcement of Shah Rukh Khan starer Pathaan, Yash Raj Films announced the release date of the much-awaited Tiger 3. The third film of the Tiger franchise takes us back into the life of Tiger (Salman Khan) and Zoya (Katrina Kaif). The big-scale action entertainer directed by Maneesh Sharma will be an Eid 2023 bonanza. Yes, unfortunately, the audience will have to wait another year to watch the film on the big screen. But the makers promise that the wait will be worth it as the film promises to be much bigger in scale and action as compared to the first two films of the franchise- Ek Tha Tiger and Tiger Zinda Hai.

The release of Tiger 3 has been delayed because of the delayed release of Pathaan. The film can't release until the arrival of Pathaan, as the two stories are interlinked. Pathaan's shoot was delayed due to several reasons and will take a little longer to be ready. While the shoot of Tiger 3 has been almost wrapped up, the audiences will have to wait another year to watch the film as it is linked with Pathaan and the Shah Rukh Khan starrer needs to be watched first.
*The film has been vastly shot across picturesque locations in countries like Turkey, Russia, and Austria. Some major sequences have also been shot in Mumbai and Delhi. The film promises to be visually appealing with audiences getting the feel of being a part of Tiger and Zoya’s life as they go from one place to another.
*Emraan Hashmi will be seen in a completely new avatar as he will be seen locking horns with Salman Khan’s Tiger. This is the first time that the two stars will be sharing screen and Emraan has beefed up like never before for the film.
*Superstar Shah Rukh Khan will be having a cameo in Tiger 3 as Pathaan. The two will be first seen sharing screen in Siddharth Anand directed Pathaan followed by Tiger 3.
*Vishal Jethwa who made his debut in the film Mardaani as the antagonist opposite Rani Mukerji’s tough cop act will be playing a pivotal role in the film. His performance in Mardaani had left viewers impressed and it is exciting to wait and see what the actor does in Tiger 3.
*For Katrina’s Zoya, the makers have devised a massive action sequence. It's said to be the biggest action scene of Katrina's career and she will be seen performing some never seen before stunts in the schedule. Katrina, who is currently at her fittest best, has also been silently working towards her physique to do all the stunts by herself.
*The Tiger franchise is also known for its foot-tapping music and extensive choreographies. Pritam is directing the music for Tiger 3 and the makers have set aside a massive budget for the shoot of the songs in picturesque locations.
