Sara Ali Khan marked the seventh anniversary of Kedarnath by sharing a heartfelt note and a set of behind-the-scenes photos on December 7, 2025. The images featured moments from the film’s making, including unseen pictures with her co-star, the late Sushant Singh Rajput. In her caption, Sara reflected on the memories and lessons that have stayed with her since the film’s shoot.
She wrote about wishing she could revisit 2017 “not to change a single moment but to relive, cherish and truly appreciate every nanosecond of that magical time.” Expressing deep gratitude, she shared how Kedarnath shaped many of her interests — from black coffee and trekking to her “moon obsession” and her attachment to pahadi food. She credited Rajput for nurturing her curiosity, calling his guidance a meaningful part of the experience. Sara also thanked director Abhishek Kapoor, writer Kanika Dhillon, and assistant director Jehan Handa for their roles in the journey, ending her post with “2017- (infinite emoji)” and “Jai Bholenath.”
The carousel of images drew warm reactions from fans. One user pointed out the emotional detail in Sara’s post, writing, “You framing the tickets of Kedarnath and Simmba IS SO SPECIAL,” referring to the movie tickets seen in one of the photos. On the work front, Sara was last seen in Metro In Dino, followed by a brief appearance in The Ba***ds of Bollywood*. Her only confirmed project at the moment is Pati Patni Aur Woh Do.
