Actor Sanjay Kapoor, who is very active on social media, posted throwback pictures on Instagram on Rajiv Kapoor’s birth anniversary. He got emotional while remembering his dear friend.

Taking to Instagram, he wrote, “Happy birthday chimps ️ You will always be missed ️ ️ , Still can’t believe that we didn’t speak at sharp 12 in the night , Love you and miss you ” Sanjay’s wife Maheep Kapoor is also seen in the photos.

Rajiv Kapoor passed away in February this year due to cardiac arrest at a hospital in Chembur. He was gearing up for a new film after a long hiatus of 31 years. He was set to return in Toolsidas Junior, starring Sanjay Dutt.

Earlier in an interview with a tabloid, Rajiv’s brother Randhir Kapoor said, “Rajiv was a very gentle and extremely jovial person. It is so tough to believe that he is gone. He had no medical history. His health was simply fine; he had no problems whatsoever.”
