Dan Scavino, who serves as the White House Deputy Chief of Staff, posted a snippet from Malhari to congratulate Patel. This isn’t the first time Scavino has used the song in a political context—he previously shared a video in 2019 featuring Donald Trump’s face superimposed onto Ranveer Singh’s performance in Malhari.

Some social media users unfamiliar with Bollywood expressed curiosity, with one commenting, “I’m just here to ask what movie or TV show that’s from, because that’s a killer dance scene.”
