Filmmaker Karan Johar turned a year older on May 25 and hosted a grand bash celebrating his 50th birthday. The who's who of Bollywood, Telugu industry were in attendance for this party at Yash Raj Studios in Mumbai. From Gauri Khan to Raveena Tandon, Varun Dhawan to Sidharth Malhotra, Vicky Kaushal-Katrina Kaif to Hrithik Roshan-Saba Azad, Kiara Advani to Rashmika Mandanna, Vijay Deverakonda to Shahid Kapoor, it was a night to remember. The dance floor was lit and every other celeb performed their hearts out.
Karan Johar was seen grooving to the beats of 'Dafli Wale Dafli Baja' from 1979 film Sargam starring Rishi Kapoor and Shashikala. Ranveer Singh joined on the dance floor following which late Rishi Kapoor's son, Ranbir Kapoor and wife Neetu Kapoor were also seen dancing and enjoying the music.

Meanwhile, on his birthday, Karan Johar announced that post the release of Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, he will direct an action film kicking off in April 2023. On the other hand, Ranbir Kapoor will next star in Shamshera, Brahmastra, Animal and Luv Ranjan's next. Ranveer Singh has Cirkus, Anniyan remake and Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani in the pipeline. Neetu Kapoor will next star in Jugjugg Jeeyo.
