Samantha Ruth Prabhu and filmmaker Raj Nidimoru recently got married in a Linga Bhairavi Vivaha ceremony at the Isha Foundation’s Linga Bhairavi Temple in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. The two had collaborated on The Family Man season two and Citadel: Honey Bunny, and had been rumoured to be dating since 2024.
A few days after their intimate wedding, Raj made his first public appearance at The Family Man season 3 success party in Mumbai. He was seen arriving with his creative partner Krishna DK and the show’s lead actor, Manoj Bajpayee.
As Raj stepped out, photographers congratulated him with cheerful “Shaadi mubarak ho!” wishes. Blushing and smiling, he thanked them for their warm messages, marking his first public acknowledgement of his marriage to Samantha.
Meanwhile, Samantha Ruth Prabhu returned to work and resumed shooting for Ma Inti Bangaram. She shared a picture on social media from her vanity van, where she was getting her hair done while chatting with director Nandini Reddy and makeup artist Avni Rambhia.
Raj and Samantha’s wedding in December was attended only by close friends and family. For the ceremony, Samantha wore a red Banarasi saree by Arpita Mehta, crafted from pure Katan satin silk. The saree featured powder-zari buttis, a Nishi-woven border, and intricate beige-gold zardozi detailing with saadi taar, cut dana, kasab embroidery and delicate mirror work. Raj complemented her look in an ivory kurta set paired with a textured gold jacket from Tarun Tahiliani.
Samantha was previously married to Naga Chaitanya from 2017 to 2021, while Raj was married to Shhyamali De from 2015 until their reported separation in 2022. Their relationship began making headlines in 2024, with Samantha often sharing photos with Raj on social media.
