Superstar Shah Rukh Khan is currently obliterating the box office with Jawan which has collected Rs. 206.06 crore in just three days. The film, helmed by Atlee Kumar, stars Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara along with a special appearance from Deepika Padukone. While the film continues to be sold out in theatres in most places in the country, celebrities are raving about the action entertainer. Amongst them is filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt, who praised the superstar.

Bhatt, who has earlier worked with Shah Rukh Khan in films like Duplicate and Chaahat, told ETimes, “Stars don’t shine because they want to be seen. They shine because they are stars. A superstar is someone who uses their light to illuminate the world, leaving a trail of inspiration for others to follow. Shah Rukh Khan is a living embodiment of that.”

The movie also stars Sunil Grover, Ridhi Dogra, Sanya Malhotra, Mukesh Chhabra, Girija Oak Godbole, Aaliyah Qureishi, Ashlesha Thakur, Sanjeeta Bhattacharya, and Lehar Khan.

Jawan is a Red Chillies Entertainment presentation directed by Atlee, produced by Gauri Khan, and co-produced by Gaurav Verma. The film released on September 7, 2023, in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu languages.
