So, it’s incredible, it’s like seeing a mini Zeenat Aman in Bhumi. It’s amazing to be around women who are so empowered, strong and accomplished,” shared Lisa Mishra.

These words by Lisa Mishra highlighted Bhumi Pednekar’s approach to her role in The Royals, where she played a bold entrepreneur, Sophia Shekhar. The character allowed her to explore various shades, including intensity, vulnerability, comic timing, and sharp dialogue delivery.

Ever since the show landed on OTT, the audiences responded to her performance and acknowledged her for picking a contemporary role. While she receives attention for The Royals, she will be seen in the upcoming thriller Daldal. Though the details of the same are kept under wraps, Bhumi is set to appear in a new kind of role.
