Set against the backdrop of two different eras, Housefull marked the return of the fourth film of the franchise in 2019. As the film completes 5 years, one of the leading ladies, Kriti Kharbanda, who played the love interest of Bobby Deol in this comedy entertainer, took to social media to celebrate the milestone year of the comedy film’s release. The actress, who played a dual role like her other co-stars since it is based on reincarnation, shared a sweet note on social media wherein she also mentioned the reason she is fond of the movie.

Sharing a BTS video of her action sequence as Rajkumari Meena from the 15th Century, Kriti Kharbanda reminisced about her time on set and expressed her gratitude to the entire team, cast, and crew for making the experience unforgettable. In her post, Kriti highlighted that these kind of action sequences were her favorite part of the film, despite its comedic nature. She wrote, "Housefull 4 was a comedy film, but the action was my favourite part! A big thank you to the entire team, cast and crew for a wonderful, unforgettable experience! Rajkumari Meena and Neha, one movie, two characters, endless fun!" To further engage her fans, Kriti included a poll in her post, asking them which character they liked more: the regal Rajkumari Meena or the modern Neha.

While the poll sparked a discussion among her followers, adding a touch of humor to the post was Kriti’s husband, Pulkit Samrat. He commented on her post saying, “Stunts are performed by experts. Do not attempt at home.”

Meanwhile, speaking about Housefull 4, the film, directed by Farhad Samji, starred Akshay Kumar in the lead role of Harsh Sinha, who was Rajkumar Bala Dev Singh in his previous birth. The film featured Kriti Sanon as his leading lady along with Riteish Deshmukh and Pooja Hegde as the third couple in the comedy entertainer.
