The season 12 of the game show Kaun Banega Crorepati has seen different kinds of people hailing from different parts of the country gracing the hot seat. While on the hot seat, contestants often share their dreams and life anecdotes with the host Amitabh Bachchan.
Recently, a contestant revealed how Vishal Bharadwaj's film Omkara helped him in clearing a BA English Literature exam. The contestant Shah Faisal went on to reveal that in 2014 when he was a graduation student he did not get time to prepare for Shakespearean tragedy Othello for his exam and turned to Omkara for help. The film was an adaptation of Othello. After watching the film, he realised that Othello's character is portrayed by Ajay Devgn while Saif Ali Khan played Iago. Big B praises Faisal's creativity and for using movies as a tool to educate.
While Faisal is based in UP, he currently works as a call center executive in Mumbai, and won Rs 3.20 lakh on the show.
