Actress Kajol marked a nostalgic milestone as Dilwale completed 10 years since its release, taking to social media to reflect on the film and the memories associated with it. Sharing a celebratory post, the actress looked back at the 2015 entertainer with warmth and gratitude.
“10 years to this piece of filmography! And what an amazing time we had making it! From the glaciers to the costumes to the jokes and fun on set! Each and every frame is a memory!” Kajol wrote, summing up the journey of a film that reunited her with Shah Rukh Khan on the big screen.

Directed by Rohit Shetty, Dilwale was released in 2015 as a romantic comedy action film and was co-produced by Gauri Khan under Red Chillies Entertainment and Rohit Shetty Productions. The film featured an ensemble cast led by Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon, with notable performances by Pankaj Tripathi, Johnny Lever, Boman Irani, Mukesh Tiwari, Varun Sharma, Kabir Bedi and Vinod Khanna. The film holds additional significance as Vinod Khanna’s final on-screen appearance before his passing in April 2017.
For audiences, Dilwale was particularly special as it marked the seventh collaboration between Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol, one of Hindi cinema’s most celebrated on-screen pairings, following their last appearance together in My Name Is Khan. Their reunion once again tapped into a legacy built through films that defined romance for generations.
Kajol’s post comes shortly after she and Shah Rukh Khan unveiled a bronze statue of their iconic characters Raj and Simran from Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge in London.
