Bollywood actress Kajol is currently keeping busy with the promotional activities of her upcoming project The Trial. In an interview, the actress expressed her admiration for fellow industry stalwart Madhuri Dixit, stating that she believes the iconic actress is underrated and deserves more opportunity.

In a recent interview when Kajol was asked about one underrated actress in the industry, the actress replied Times Now, “Madhuri is really underrated and I feel she hasn't been given the opportunities she actually deserves.”

Both Kajol and Madhuri Dixit have made their own unique contributions to Indian cinema, captivating audiences with their respective styles and performances. As Kajol sings Madhuri Dixit's praises, she hopes to bring attention to the immense talent and influence of her fellow actress, urging viewers and the industry to appreciate and celebrate Madhuri Dixit's incredible work.

At present, Kajol is receiving acclaim for her role in Lust Stories 2, a recent release on Netflix. In the anthology, she appeared in Amit Sharma's short film alongside Kumud Mishra. The remaining three short films were directed by Konkona Sensharma, R Balki, and Sujoy Ghosh. Additionally, Kajol is starring in the show The Trial, alongside Jisshu Sengupta, Sheeba Chaddha, and Kubbra Sait. The Trial, it is a Hindi adaptation of the American political-legal drama, The Good Wife. The series will start streaming on the OTT platform from July 14 onwards.
