The success press conference of Jawan was held today in Mumbai and as expected, it was a memorable affair. The whole team of the film was present. Deepika Padukone, who featured in the film in a special appearance, also graced the occasion. Interestingly, her entry was greeted with a roaring response from the media and fans. Deepika looked stunning in a white saree, and she gave a lovely intro speech.

Deepika Padukone said, “I don’t have much to say except that thank you so much for all the love. I really just did this for my love for Shah Rukh. Everyone knows the relationship that we share. I didn’t anticipate this to become so, so special. I am proud and happy to be here and support the team.”

Jawan stars Shah Rukh Khan in the lead role and he plays dual roles of a father and son. Deepika Padukone, meanwhile, essays the part of Aishwarya who marries Vikram Rathore (Shah Rukh Khan). Aishwarya is wrongly jailed and is about to get death by hanging. However, it comes to light that she is pregnant. Hence, her death sentence is postponed by five years. She gives birth to Azad, whose role is also played by Shah Rukh Khan. How Aishwarya gives birth to Azad and dotes on him until his fifth birthday forms a crucial part of the film.
