The mass action entertainer Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire has made its arrival on the big screen and has now completed a week's release in nationwide cinemas. With it witnessing tremendous love as audiences across the country are flocking the theaters to witness the grand actioner directed by KGF director Prashanth Neel, the makers have already started work on its sequel. After announcing its title, now actor Jagapathi Babu who essays the character of Raja Mannar in the film, opened up about the part 2 of this actioner.

While fans have expressed happiness over seeing Prabhas return to his action avatar in this fantasy actioner, the other actors too are receiving praise and appreciation from the masses. One among them is the character of Raja Mannar, essayed by Jagapathi Babu. While the actor was seen in less screen presence in the film, audiences are eagerly looking to watch more of him in the sequel Salaar Part 2: Shouryanga Parvam.

In a recent interview, Jagapathi Babu confirmed that his character will receive more prominence in the next part of the movie. When asked about his screen presence in the sequel, and throwing the light on the same, he said, " My character’s foundation was laid in Part 1; it’s more of an introduction for part 2, which is going to be more solid. I’m looking forward to that.” He also appreciated one of his co-stars adding, “I would also commend Sriya Reddy, who’s done a great job in the film."

Apart from Prabhas and Jagapati Babu, Hombale Films’ Salaar: Part 1: Ceasefire stars Prithviraj Sukumaran as Vardha Raja Mannar, Shruti Haasan as Aadhya, among an ensemble cast who will be essaying different roles. Made under the direction of Prashanth Neel, the film was produced by Vijay Kiragandur and is now released in cinemas.
