Jackie Shroff recently attended the Grand Finale of Sa Re Ga Me Pa Little Champs. The veteran actor was mesmerized by the singing of the 9-year-old contestant Harsh Sikandar. But he was really moved when he came to know the life story of the little contestant.
After the unfortunate demise of his father, Harsh became the sole breadwinner of his family, despite being just 9 years old. He earns money by performing in jagratas (devotional gathering) in order to take care of his mom and siblings.
This made Shroff so emotional that he decided to provide a lot of benefits to Harsh that would make his life better. Announcing the same, the actor said, “Your voice is so pure that it touches everyone’s soul. And I want you to concentrate on nurturing it and honing your skills. That’s why I will be giving you one year of paid internet and electricity bills, admission at a service centre with a free tutor and a laptop so that you can take and give classes from your home. I hope you keep honing your skills and achieve success to great lengths.” This was enough to move everyone present over there.
On the work front, Shroff was last seen in Anant Mahadevan’s Life Is Good, which released in December 2022. Just before that, he played a cameo in the Janhvi Kapoor-starrer survival drama Mili.
