Iulia Vantur is set to make her acting debut with the upcoming short film Echoes of Us. The makers recently released the trailer, which offers a glimpse into a narrative exploring emotional and cultural themes. Starring alongside Deepak Tijori and Spanish actress Alessandra Whelan Merediz, Iulia appears in a prominent role, hinting at a larger presence in the film.
Speaking about making her acting debut, Iulia Vantur said, "I am immensely glad to enter into the acting space with Echoes of Us, and I feel humbled to play a role that connects with me and speaks to my heart. It was an incredible pleasure to work alongside the kind Deepak Tijori and under the guidance of our director Joe Rajan. I am also a bit nervous and equally excited for this movie and I can't wait for the viewers to watch this piece of our hardwork."
Directed by Joe Rajan, Echoes of Us is described as a cross-cultural film exploring themes of emotional connection, memory, and personal transformation. Iulia Vantur plays a central role alongside an international cast that contributes to the film’s storyline.

Produced by actress Pooja Batra in collaboration with Alliance Media Pty Ltd, Echoes of Us has been featured in several international film festivals. The film has received nominations in categories such as Best Actor/Actress, Best Film, Best Director, and Best Cinematography. It received an honourable mention at the 14th Bangalore Shorts Film Festival 2025 and has been officially selected at the Global Indie Filmmaker Awards 2025, Independent Shorts Awards 2025, Love & Hope International Film Festival 2025, among others.
