IFP Season 15 returns to Mumbai this weekend with an impressive roster of creators, performers, and cultural trailblazers set to take over Mehboob Studios on November 29 and 30. The festival, known for bringing together distinct voices from across India’s creative industries, will feature more than 100 sessions spanning cinema, music, digital storytelling, comedy, design, and cultural innovation.
Among the festival’s standout highlights is a slate of sessions led by five influential women — Shefali Shah, Raja Kumari, Ananya Panday, Richa Chadha, and Shilpa Rao — each bringing a distinct perspective shaped by their journeys in film, music, and global pop culture.
Shefali Shah: Many Shades of Shefali Shah
Known for performances in Delhi Crime, Darlings, and Satya, Shefali Shah will conduct a masterclass on building complex characters. She will revisit five of her most defining roles and discuss how instinct, lived experiences, and emotional depth shaped her approach.
Speaking about her session, Shah said she looks forward to revisiting the phases that shaped her craft and sharing that evolution with an audience that values sincerity and storytelling.
Raja Kumari: Making of Kashi to Kailash
Grammy-nominated rapper and songwriter Raja Kumari will explore the creative foundations of her latest project, Kashi to Kailash. Her session examines how identity, collaboration, and cultural heritage intertwine in her music.
Ananya Panday: Owning the Plot
As one of the most closely watched young actors in the industry today, Ananya Panday will reflect on finding her creative voice and navigating an entertainment landscape that continues to shift with new platforms and genres.
Richa Chadha: Redefining the Everyday Heroine
