Saif Ali Khan was attacked by a suspected intruder at his Bandra residence in Mumbai on January 16. The actor, who suffered six injuries including a spine wound, is recovering well. In light of this, his son Ibrahim Ali Khan has postponed the shoot of his current film Diler.

Sources informed India Today Digital, “The shoot of Maddock’s Diler was ongoing but has been put on hold following the attack on Saif. Sreelala is also part of the film, which is being directed by Kunal Deshmukh.” The source further added, “Ibrahim wants to stay by his dad’s side until he returns home and fully recovers.”

Saif Ali Khan was stabbed at least six times by an unidentified assailant who broke into his Mumbai home on Thursday in an attempted burglary.

The police have officially confirmed that the attacker, whose identity has been established by authorities, gained unauthorized access to Saif Ali Khan's residence in the upscale Bandra West area at approximately 2:30 am. The intruder reportedly used the fire escape to enter the apartment with the intent to commit a robbery.

Saif Ali Khan, who was present at the time, attempted to intervene and stop the assailant. During the altercation, the intruder resorted to violence, stabbing the actor multiple times. The incident has raised concerns over security measures in high-profile residential areas.
