South Korean entertainment industry giant HYBE's Chairman Bang Si Hyuk will reportedly produce tracks for newly formed female group Le Sserafim's debut EP Fearless.

The group's agency Source Music, an affiliate label of HYBE, on Monday, reported that Bang Si Hyuk, who is listed on the EP's tracklist as "hitman" Bang, has taken part in producing the EP's title track "Fearless" and the fourth track "The Great Mermaid."

The EP's title track "Fearless" is comprised of alternative pop and punk sounds. Other songs on the forthcoming debut album include ‘The World Is My Oyster,’ ‘Blue Flame’ and ‘Sour Grapes.’ Le Sserafim's members Kim Chae Won and Huh Yun Jin wrote the lyrics to the track "Blue Flame."

Other prominent producers listed on their debut album tracklist are BLVSH (pronounced Blush) who worked on BTS's song ‘Life Goes On’ (2020) and American pop artist Destiny Rogers. HYBE previously announced that former BTS visual director and TXT creative director Kim Sung Hyun (also known as Nu Kim) will be taking the reins as creative director for Le Sserafim’s debut.

The upcoming six-member female group consists of former IZ*ONE members Miyawaki Sakura and Kim Chae Won, former Produce 48 contestant Huh Yun Jin, and new faces Kim Garam, Hong Eunchae, and Kazuha. Le Sserafim is an anagram of “I’m Fearless,” symbolizing the girl group’s concept that it will venture out into the world without feeling afraid of others’ opinions. The group is set to debut on May 2, 2022 with their 1st mini album Fearless.
