Hungama OTT, one of India’s leading digital entertainment platforms, has announced the launch of its new original anthology series, Dirty Scams. Each story follows a different woman at the centre of a perfectly crafted con — bold, intelligent, and unafraid to bend the rules. With sharp writing, powerful performances, and an unapologetic tone, Dirty Scams explores themes of desire, deceit, and empowerment in a world where survival demands wit and courage.

The series features an impressive ensemble cast, including Pavitra Punia, Puja Banerjee, Alisha Panwar, Ishita Ganguly, Dipankana Das, Rushad Rana, Imran Nazir Khan, Ankit Raj, Akshaya Shetty, and more.

Dirty Scams will premiere on October 30, with its first two episodes — Ishq Parlour and Aashram — streaming on Hungama OTT. The next chapters, Shagun Mein Dhoka and Deemak, will release on November 6, followed by the finale, Right Swipe, on November 13.

Described as a mix of wit, tension, and sleek storytelling, the anthology promises to keep audiences on edge as it explores what happens when intelligence meets audacity — and how every scam has its own story.

Words from the Team
Siddhartha Roy, CEO of Hungama Digital Media, shared, “With Dirty Scams, we wanted to tell stories that resonate deeply with audiences — stories that question what’s right and wrong, and how ambition and deception often intertwine. Each episode offers a new perspective, told through strong female voices, blending fast-paced entertainment with meaningful, layered storytelling.”

Pavitra Punia, who stars in Ishq Parlour, said, “This role helped me explore a new side of my craft, especially as it involved portraying intimacy for the first time. It wasn’t easy, but the team’s professionalism and support made it a comfortable and empowering experience.”

Puja Banerjee, speaking about her character Mohini in Aashram, added, “Mohini is elegant on the outside but carries a storm within. Playing her was a balance between grace and danger, and that contrast made the role so exciting.”

Imran Nazir Khan, also from Ishq Parlour, shared, “My character is driven by both greed and guilt. It wasn’t about playing a villain or hero, but exploring what pushes a person to desperate choices.”

Akshaya Shetty, who features in Aashram, noted, “My character is guided by instinct rather than morality. She evolves through her challenges, standing by her beliefs even when they’re questioned.” Saniya Khera, also part of Aashram, added, “I loved how real my character felt — vulnerable yet strong, shaped by her circumstances. Bringing that truth to the screen was fulfilling.”

Vishal Chaudhary, discussing his role in Aashram, said, “He’s a man who thinks he’s always in control — until he realizes he’s been outsmarted. That twist keeps the story gripping.” Jasjot Bhasin commented, “My character brings calm amidst chaos, but his stillness hides calculation. That subtle danger was fun to explore.”

Alisha Panwar, leading Shagun Mein Dhoka, shared, “Some scenes were emotionally heavy. It reminded me how painful betrayal can be, and I hope no one experiences that in real life.” Sahil Uppal, her co-star, said, “My character Shivam gives up everything for love, unaware that it will become his greatest heartbreak. It was emotionally challenging but deeply rewarding.”

Ishita Ganguly, who headlines Deemak, reflected, “Dirty Scams goes beyond deception. It’s about power, survival, and choice. My character constantly walks the line between right and wrong, and that tension was thrilling.” Rushad Rana, her co-star, added, “What drew me to my role was the unpredictability — a charming yet manipulative man hiding quiet desperation. It’s one of my most layered roles.”

Dipankana Das, who stars in Right Swipe, said, “My character thrives in a world where trust is scarce. She’s fearless, unapologetic, and plays by her own rules.” Ankit Raj, her co-star, noted, “Johan is an honest man looking for love but ends up paying the price for misplaced trust. It’s a simple yet heartbreaking story.”
