Rachit Singh recently impressed the audiences with his menacing act as a Betaal called Veeran in Thamma, which is a part of the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe. He will next be seen in the film with a quirky title Baby Do Die Do, which is produced by Huma Qureshi and her brother Saqib Saleem under their banner Saleem Siblings. Huma is playing the lead in the movie.
Speaking exclusively to Bollywood Hungama about the film and his role, Rachit said, “It is a thriller, drama; everything is there in it. It’s a very good film to be a part of. My character is very different from Veeran. Here I am playing a sweet, nice and innocent guy. Even the physicality is different.”
Elaborating on the difference in both the characters, Rachit said, “For Veeran, I made the body with six-packs and all for my character. For Baby Do Die Do, I have a built but there is a tummy and everything. The character is very different. So, it was a very different experience and I am very excited for this film to come out next year. I am just very happy to be a part of this great project.”
When asked whether a release period for the film has been decided yet by the makers, Rachit said, “Hopefully January or February. But you never know.”
Speaking about what’s next in store for him after Baby Do Die Do, Rachit said, “As of now, I am meeting a lot of people. Currently, I am not signing anything. There are a lot of discussions going on. As soon as something gets done, I will tell you guys.”
Directed by Nachiket Samant, who also helmed Huma Qureshi’s recent release Single Salma, Baby Do Die Do also stars Chunky Panday, Sikandar Kher, Vidya Malvade, Seema Pahwa among others.
